Production Seminar Classes

Production Seminar A (Design)

Cultures and technologies relating to food will be compared against society, and we will capture them multilaterally and practically. Historically for mankind to be nourished with nutrients, they produced stable and efficient food products, and ultimately were able to overcome starvation. However, in the present landscape due to issues such as food loss and food supply, new issues are coming to the forefront. Conversely, developments in scientific technologies, various cooking methods, gastronomies, etc., are advancing the possibilities of new food cultures. Whilst calling for balance in climate change and the state of society, in what way can we capture “food” as a theme? Through research and practicals, we will make proposals and think reflectively on this theme.
